Our story begins with Capt. Alok Kumar Gupta is a retired Indian Army officer from the prestigious Gorkha Regiment. After dedicating his life to service, Capt. Gupta's passion for travel and his love for nature led him to settle near the sacred river Ganga. Drawn to the serene beauty and tranquillity of the area, he decided to start a new chapter, first venturing into telecommunications, and later opening a fine dining restaurant named Captain’s Cavalry in the heart of Haridwar. His goal was simple: to offer a unique dining experience inspired by his journeys and his commitment to quality.

Capt. Gupta’s passion for bringing people together and sharing the best of local experiences didn’t stop there. Originally, he built this beautiful property as a private farm for family holidays. However, seeing the growing interest from visitors who admired the peaceful setting and natural beauty, he decided to expand. Over time, what began as a family getaway transformed into a boutique hotel with nine cozy rooms, a restaurant, and thoughtfully curated experiences, all managed by professionals dedicated to offering the best hospitality.
